    Yes!, there are instances(not many) where it is justified,
    but more often than not, the reward to the stockholder
    isn't worth the bother.

    • I agree, some class actions are warranted, most are not, the US is a bit unique in allowing people to sue because life went against them.

      My corporation has had a class action suit against it for 3 years (different issue, loss of benefits related). As our lawyers say...class action only means the court doesn't want to hear the same crap 1000 times, so it does it as a class action. What most people think is that it denotes some credibility to the doesn't.

      It's like spec stock for lawyers, they only need one out of a dozen to give em back some dough.
