    GOD QB sucks. can't even open my files

    for months now. I'm just hand-writing checks as trying to talk to someone at customer service is just too horrible.

    Oh wait, it's 2009, I guess I need to buy the complete new version maybe?? I've had more trouble with this software than anything I've ever experienced. These guys must be just seconds away for bk....

    • Do not buy 2009, if your version doesn’t work and you downloaded it online you may now have to buy a copy of an old version on ebay or something. QuickBooks 2008 works fine. I think that 2005 was probably the best. If you are not using online banking I’ll gladly send you my old 2005 version free, just send an email to this address. I’m debating reloading 2008 and closing my company and restarting but I will have to wait until the end of the year.

      When I bought QuickBooks 2009 they tried the same crap with me, I downloaded it online and they said they would mail me a back up CD. It took about 5 calls over a few months and numerous complaints before I received my hard copy.

      Again I’m sorry to bash but something has happened to this company.

      I am terrified to update my quicken account and will probably try and remain a few years behind the curve.

      Stay away from 2009 it is horrible.
