Do you honestly think TiVo owns DVR recording rights? You better study hard my friend because you are wrong. Recording on a hard drive is not a TiVo patent. Just a few recording features. Don't get to complacent or you will lose big, just like all the other investors who jumped in after a past TiVo hype only to see the stock retreat back to it's historical average.
Apparently you haven't been getting all your info right. I didn't say in my post that TIVO owns all the DVR recording rights. What I said is that TIVO owns the patent for the TIME WARP feature installed in the DVRs that the courts have found to be infringers. You sir can use your DVR as you wish but not the TIME WARP feature that you are using ILLEGALY. Now the Federal court in Texas has said that.you and your DVR will have to licence the patented TIME Warp feature from TIVO or DISCONNECT the infringing DVR. .You will say that your DVR has its own Time warp feature. To that comment I say you just may have to prove it."D" couldn't do it. and it has cost them millions.GULP . Its great to be on the side of a winner.See you in church????
