I was impressed by a couple of points: 1. The government is providing large incentives to help doctors purchase Mdrx products. 2. A third party is setting up six months of free funding so no cost to Mrdx. 3. Hospitals are encouraging their affiliated doctors to participate also, so that when one of their patients show up at the hospital, they can instantly have their records. 4. I believe the ceo said there will be a penalty in the future if doctors don't comply with electronic record keeping. Now, if you were a doctor or in a group of doctors, why wouldn't you take advantage of a plan like this? My state has an energy plan where the state will pay 50% of energy upgrades up to $20,000. You better believe I will upgrade my furnace, water heater, etc. when the gov. is going to pay half of the cost. It is a no brainer.
