usually i like to take book value, plus cash, minus debt and about 10x earnings, at that ATVI has a fair market value of about $20 a i'm not saying the market trades at fair market value often, but its a number that usually gets hit in do time, be it higher or lower than share price

that said, long and strong, gooooo Blizzzzz :)

    • if you include "goodwill" and things of that nature in ATVI, then your stupid.

book value is $2-$3, not $10.

since goodwill represents the premium used to take over companys, then adding in a "p/e" to your valuation would serve to double count future earnings.

the premium used to take over a company symbolizes future earnings, because a company for sale includes that in the sale price.

Ultimately, ATVI might be worth $10-$12, if earnings tay this way. If they fall, it might be worth $7 or $8.

    • atvi's products are dying
      that means its worth $5.
