Have you went to the "fund" screener on yahoo finance. You can narrow the search down to 4 or 5 star funds and can specifically look at the different classes of bond funds. If you are young and looking for growth, fcntx is a good solid choice but, a little mix with the "high yield" and treasury is ok.
I am considering fsicx. I presently have positions in FCNTX, SPY, MWHYX, TIP, EFT and I am holding about 25% in cash. What I like about FSICX is the mix. It has a quality international mix. If I have learned anything, it is this; I like Fidelity because they not only show the Morningstar rating of their funds, they also have funds that are spot lighted as "Fidelity Fund Picks". FSICX and SPHIX are both Fidelity Fund Picks at the present time.
