If CYCC doesn't partner do they have enough cash to complete the Phase 3 trial(s). They have some cash, but it's certainly not excessive. What are the thoughts here on the need to raise funding? I don't think partnering before a bit more funding makes sense. Studies have shown that a very strong balance sheet before funding leads to a better deal.
I wonder how much it would cost for them to run the Phase 3 if they go it alone.
CYCC had $18.5 at the end of September and then they raised $14.1 in October. We don't know what they burned into Q4 but I'm assuming about $4M. So cash should be right around $28.6M. I really feel like they need to strengthen things up a bit before partnering. Going it alone with this amount of cash seems very risky. I would raise (I think they can do this with minimal dilution to shareholders) and then partner.
I think this is one of the more attractive companies based on price/potential.
