Repubs peeing on graves of dead soldiers whose famiies don't receive benefits because of their govt shutdown.

Repubs stated while mic on that they can 'win the game".

    • Ok jkwelli, let's say I have a house you want to buy from me. I want $500,000.00 for it. You come back with $400,000.00. I say to you,,,,,,,,,,Well you give me the $500,000.00 and we go to closing, after that we will sit down and talk about the price.
Do you still want the "HOUSE" ?

      Sentiment: Strong Sell

      • Poor analogy IMO.

The money has ALREADY been spent by the government if I understand correctly.

I understand that the repubs are trying to extract some benefit.

Here is my analogy, if you are being operated on and doctor has you cut open and says "well in addition to what I normally get paid, I want your car also because I feel I can extract more from you in this vulnerable condition, otherwise sew yourself back up."

Will repubs reduce the $850 billion defense budget?

Ron Paul says repubs are not serious about cutting what he calls defense department entitlements.

    • The president can use his executive powers to pay our any part of the Govt he wants when it is shut down... get informed on your topics before you make yourself look like an idiot.. oh wait, that just happened

WASHINGTON, March 16 — The Senate voted narrowly today to raise the national debt limit to nearly $9 trillion, averting what would have been the first default ever on United States Treasury notes and giving Democrats an opportunity to portray Republicans as reckless with the people's money.

      RelatedRoll Call Vote
The 52-to-48 vote, with all Democrats and a handful of Republicans voting "no," increased the debt limit by $781 billion. The increase was the fourth since President Bush took office, prompting Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the Democratic minority leader, to declare that "years of Republican mismanagement" have driven the nation deep into the red.] ......

      Larry ....

      it's "always" about POWER...

it's never about We the People...

and people like you will never get it because you are determine not to ever look at the truth of government in the eyes of the founding fathers that held goose quill feather pens in their hands and with the penmanship of poets wrote the American dream for We the People....

      not a government...
      not a church...
      and sure as hell...
      not a corporation....

      1790 $71 million of debt...
      today nearly $17 trillion...
half of that debt in the past 10 years...
      just 120 months....

people have car and rv notes in that time period...

Government and the ones of POWER...

and We the People for the past 232 years have put each and everyone of them there...

Stop with the blame game and have the balls to admit the ones at fault...

Nothing will every change until you do.

      NOTHING..!!
