most eloquent responses. I agree with you completely that the browning of America is here and now. My son, who is white, married the most wonderful Hispanic girl 5 years ago. There have been a few differences, culturally speaking, but they have only enriched our lives and broadened our knowledge. She is the best thing to ever happen to our son, and I thank God every day for her. They have also blessed us with our first grandchild, and for that, we will always be thankful. Scent PS--WMT, and many other companies would close their doors without the Hispanic, Black,and Asian dollars. We should welcome them all--the only color we see at the cash register is green.
I live in a town which has as much of a mixture of people as any in the world. I was coming out of a cafe located in a part of town with "lots" of signs in the various Asian languages, I had just been waited upon by a Black person, and held the door open for an Hispanic lady, as a guy got out his car, looked around, and said, "Are there any White people in this town?"
