Yesterday Cicso announced an improved CRS product that is 10x faster than its predecessor. It can send signals 4,800 KM without the need to regenerate,it handles MPLS, and it is based on the new CMOS based line card CISCO CPAK. Can any of the techie's on this board tell me whether the DTN-X has any advantages over this device and what it means long term. I know science never stops, but I thought Infinera had some time to establish itself. Hawk
I'll take a untidy comparison but to say "I don't see why it would now" is nothing answer, not worth even expressing.I would hope that you can come up with something better if you are a techie, but most likely you are just a wannabe. Hawk
from what my engineer friend explained and MO crsx and dtnx is two different technologies. dtnx bring the data and crsx direct the data by my conclusion cisco improved crs product is actually good for infinera dtnx.
