Distribution will be paid tomorrow. We lost 60% of it today. Will lose the rest tomorrow. Expected the stock to trade down to $18 this quarter. Did not expect it to do it so quickly. As long as the volume is up, NRP will drop. There are no buyers in sight. Still haven't figured out who is selling. If you watch a few trades you will see the hundred share traders run the stock up a few pennies and then someone drops a few thousand shares to knock the stock down.
Like your optimism and hope you are correct. I, too, am long NRP. Still wonder why:
1. Scott & Stringfellow, Inc sold 2,522,035 shares over the past 6 months.
2. Zacks has a "sell" on shares of NRP.
3. With all of the "buy" ratings (Motley Fools,"The Street" etc), Shares of NRP continue to crash.
