Well, last year the stock went up 40 % and split, and it still has some volatile days when it trades up or down by a 3-4 % - but this board is pretty quiet.
Let's see if anybody is listening out there...
After solid gains these past two years, I'm thinking of selling a bit (~20%) of my HRS shares. I'm thinking to "lock in some gains" (having read that after stock triples from cost basis its not bad to sell a bit at each successive multiple)... I'd probably take the proceeds and invest in something equally boring like EMR or "dow dogs".
Any thoughts on our companies future in '98. Any reason to expect another market beating return ? Any unforeseen dangers lurking in the copier market or expected cut-backs in gov't contracts or losses in the components industries ? Or will it just be another boring (in a good way) year of solid performance by this behind-the-scenes manufacturer ?
