Sadly, you probably think it's great the government is offering such a thing but you've probably been on the government sugar (i.e. food stamps, welfare, SS and others and can't live without it).
You said the same thing when auto insurance became mandatory.: "You'll never get your car repaired."...."Auto mechanics will leave the profession." ETC.
I bet republicans were echoing a similar theme when medicare first rolled out.
