GSS did swing to profit, but gold production was down. They have a plan to get it back up, and then some, but a lot of it is high cash cost production. That doesn't leave any margin for error unless the pog increases a lot pretty soon.
Also I noticed that their avg. pog for the quarter was $437 if I read it correctly. Even if the pog rallies modestly for much of February and March they probably won't match that sale price for the current quarter.
The main thing, however, is how they execute on all the projects they have laid out for 2005/06. IMHO, pipe
I have only read a part of it so far. It looks like a dissapointing operating result, and a lot of little fires to put out in almost every aspect of their operations. That is the past now and they seem to be forcasting a doubling of production for 05 which is why I like this stock. This is the best price I have seen I think so I will round out my position when I see the signal.
