Koll: I am in complete agreeemtn with you... that fact is the long delay on Bacchus has gobbled up cash that was once thought to go into new production like the MS. Seems to me that it is far wiser to horde the cash and spend it all on Rochelle...maybe tudor Rose. UK gas goes for almost 3 times that of US gas and we could make a lot more from production expansion over there than here. in addition, politicians are already eyeballing the Shale plays and getting ready to impose new taxes and a round of lawsuits in the MS region in PA and I understand in the shale plays in Dakotas. Better opportunities somewhere else so I am hoping we find out soon that we are going to pass on the Acquisition of MS. We lose $6 million but best to walk away.
Just as a non-interested party passing through as a result of seeing the insider purchases, my belief is that those purchases were little more than cheap publicity to get folks like yourself thinking the way you are "well, if they're buying, obviously there has to be a good reason".
From where I sit, again as a non-interested party, I think the stock is overpriced similar to others in this sector. Losses being posted (ok, it's cyclical), trading at over 4 times sales (can't really put a good spin on that), almost $500 million in debt (well, it is resource/capital intensive...but you've got to service that debt, and there's only $60 million in sales).
In my mind, that all points to overpriced. Not my cup of tea.
