I know we're going into the "who will Buffett buy this year" season, and I've been thinking all weekend about how attractive of a target this company would be.
With the exception of the fact that they're 1/100th the size of his usual buyout target (I think he looks for companies in the $20 billion range), PetMed Express has all of the things he usually likes in his buyout targets...
... A great business concept
... Customers who are willing to spend $$$$ on their pets
... Filling a need that has to be filled one way or the other (meds for pets)
... A head start in the business
... An established business plan and operation.
... Sustainable future sales and cash flow
I know several people who use MedCo for home delivery of their own meds. PETS is the medco of pets.
Maybe while Buffett's looking for dinner he should snack on $PETS
