Reasonable gun control would involve universal background checks at affordable costs, and not the jacked up costs charged by FFLs. That check would be sufficient to allow cross state line purchases without the daisy chain of fFFLs required currently. And since only law abiding citizens passed such checks, it would allow citizens to have guns in any state, thereby eliminating the rule of corrupt, petty politicians selling fear, and ensuring fees having to be paid into thier pockets.
I'm an NRA member and completely support background checks for every firearms purchaser. I also think that a 15-round capacity magazine is plenty. But I also realize that if you give the anti-gunners an inch they'll try to take a yard and THAT is the problem.
