    Jan 15 puts

Looks like someone sold 11,800 contracts at 15 level . So either they are confident that it won't get there, or they want to buy that many shares at just under 15 after the premium.

    • with the premium considered, the purchased price would be approximately the 2008 low. purchaser might be figuring he can't lose over the long haul if he gets the stock and should he not get it, he pockets a nice 4% return over 6 plus months. Seller amy have bought near the 2008 lows and wil want to get out at break even if things really go downhill. Myself, I would tend to be a seller of the puts but would also be considering putting on a spread buying the $13 put for $0.32 to insure I did not end up buying a $5 stock for $15.
