Reason I asked (from a press release that Schwab picked up:
Next Inning Technology Publishes Earnings Previews for Intersil, Cypress, Nokia, and Packeteer 11:02 AM EDT April 19, 2006 Next Inning Technology Research (http://www.nextinning.com), a subscription service focused on technology stocks, has published earnings previews for Intersil (Nasdaq: ISIL), Cypress (NYSE: CY), Nokia (NYSE: NOK), and Packeteer (Nasdaq: PKTR). ... McWilliams looks at these topics: ... -- How is Cypress' exposure to the solar cell space impacting the stock's valuation?"
On the other hand, both ESLR and SPWR had great days today - a more likely explanation for the rise.
And then there's earnings. Pattern seems to have been recently that the movement on earnings day is opposite the movement during the run-up. On that basis, CY should go down tomorrow. What will make it almost certain to go down is my hunch that we will see a good day tomorrow. (How's that for a hedge?)
Either way, I look forward to the report and the call!
