I have not had time to listen yet. I know they will retain undistributed earnings, but the current dividend looks solid and slowly increasing. I also think the NAV is down a little... But projected NII for next quarter is still over 40 cents.
Was there something in the CC to cause some selling?
Maybe the dividend was more in the past, but if the stock keeps its price and continues to increase it's dividend monthly (however slight it may be), I don't see how you can ask for more. It currently has a yield of 10+%. That's great.
I agree with management. I would rather increase it slowly and steadily to insure that they have the cash flow they need and are able to keep the dividend steady rather than increase the dividend significantly only to have it reduced in the future.
Of course, they could continue with these tiny monthly increases in the dividend AND still cut the dividend. That would be disaster.
