I was getting the calls asking me to vote as well and asked them for a prospectus as to what they were asking me to vote for. They would not send me one to start with and I refused to vote until I got it. I got it Nov. 7th and after reading the plans have sold my entire position. I will keep this on my radar but suspect this can be picked up somewhere in the sub $10.00 range. If this vote passes, then sometime next year a substantial dilution at a substantial discount is being contemplated. I don't really care just FYI.
Geeze, I will not blame you for selling PSEC at this price level, you may indeed be able to buy it back cheaper later. The problem is I believe what you were saying was the annual request from them to ask shareholders to vote YES for them to issue new shares at under NAV? Correct? Well, this is just a formality and they did that every year. Since their management are probably some of the largest shareholders plus all these large institutions holding so many shares, passing this is just a formality, year after year. I do not remember I ever saw it being defeated. The interesting part is: why will they have another SPO any time soon since they have been doubling their outstanding number of shares in less than two years via their ATM programs. It is like they can have a private SPO any time they feel like it. The value of their shares had already been diluted, many times. So voting or not voting does not really make a big difference.
I blocked them on Google Voice about a week ago. At that point, I had received 13 calls in November and 7 in October.
It's nice to be rid of those pests, and I have to wonder what's up with some of the hostile replies you're getting. Are they PSEC or Altman Group employees?
True, most companies get to vote the proxies that did not give any instructions on to cast their vote.
Makes one wonder if the company really wants this issue to pass since they are putting all of this action by letters and phone calls to vote the proxy. Does the management recommend a vote for these issues or against?
harassed? LOL, you are being reminded to vote...
I doubt that shareholders can sue since you are an owner and have acknowledged that the company can contact you....
please vote you are costing shareholders money... then sell your shares and be rid of the harassment.
True most states, mine does. I am also allowed to record calls. I have answered and got dead air. This is plain harassment! If it is about the proxy why the intimidation? Do they not understand a person does not want to talk to them? Keep calling and it becomes harassment.
