Earlier AmTD had volume as heavy, now it is saying Above Avg, so with less than 1 mill shares trading I seriously doubt there is any bad news coming. No cash needed, unless they wanted to do like Acadia did and just enlarge the bank, but I doubt they would now. Surprised the price is so low and that the large potential of this antibiotic is not fully realized. I guess it can be subjective to the hedge fund traders who may not fully comprehend things. Likely a new antibiotic like this can command a high rx price of several hundred dollars for treatment even for a pill, but more likely that high copay of $35 to $50 per rx would be seen. Even if they would only see $300 or so million early on, that would be about the same level of the market cap/price right now! Duh! Guessing traders will play as long as they can, but closer to an NDA filing, the price will go up one way or another, due to common sense and a higher price, or lack thereof and a buyout!
