wow, what ethics at seeking alpha. The author writes an article and promotes it via twitter and email the morning its published. Then less than an hour into the trading session, he sells...and has the nads to tweet it!
So he's selling his shares to his followers at the day's highs!...lol
Shouldn't a site like that have a time limit on their authors trading stocks they write about? Pretty easy to develop a winning track record when you bring along your own merry band to buy the shares you pump...
I don't know why there is so much hype about a gap trade? It didn't exactly get too hammered after-all, probably goes back up tomorrow. I think holding for a long time to $12-15 would work.
Why is Matusow selling now? Im starting to get a bad feeling about this. If this isnt at a solid $8 this week, with all this great news coming out. Im going to really think about selling 50% off. Too much good news isnt always a good thing...could all be smoke and mirrors. I hope im wrong!
I may be missing something here, but what is the obsession with what Matusow says or sells?
This is a biotech stock. The most important pieces of information are the Phase III results. The fact is the data is already accumulated, and the current price targets around the $12-$15 range are a given this point.
There are certainly questions that can be discussed with regards to Trius, ie whether the daptomycin combination will carry over in vivo and what trial metrics will the FDA use for the endpoints, how and at what rate will rx's for linezolid shift, will there be a buy-out, etc etc. While some people here may be vehemently opposed to any conversation on those points, it's necessary to understand that those are issues which become relevant in the long-term ONCE the share price begins to actually reflect the known data. Speculation concerning the $7-- mid/high 'teens is pointless now.
A writer for SeekingAlpha is a shady character, it happens. Unless he personally manipulated the clinical data and patient outcomes, there's really no point to be concerned. Some people on this board may be a bit ridiculous in the consistent "TSRX to hit $1000 and cure cancer!" sentiments, but selling before this hits at least $15 would be far more absurd.
Minnesota: Hear ya-----long shower with a whole lot of shampoo! Listneing to some of these authors (cough) on this forum makes ya feel like you have been sprayed by a skunk! I been calling it "Seeking Alpo" for years! Its a dog food site! It sits at the right hand side of the Mutley Fool! Two peas in a pod! Zacks is little better iMO1
