AmEx has been wading deeper into the daily-deals company’s turf. AmEx has launched its own offer platforms that allow cardholders to sync merchant offers directly to their card accounts through Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter. AmEx has even taken swipes against Groupon and competing daily-deal provider LivingSocial, arguing its approach is more targeted.
