"Less than 24 hours after President Barack Obama’s inauguration, the Republicans are back to spreading the same old lies. This time, they’re insisting that Obama caused $5 trillion in debt increases. Simple math shows that this is not true: When you subtract $1.6 trillion for George W. Bush’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, $1.4 trillion in interest payments for outstanding debt dating from the Bush administration, and $1.6 trillion in lost revenue from Bush’s tax cuts, the number dwindles to $400 billion in debt authorized by congress, as well as the president. Furthermore, much of government spending was caused by Bush’s recession, during which more people were forced to apply for food stamps and other public assistance."
My ten-month-old boy is better at math than Franky boy. Franky - I am shocked that you can keep that cashier job. I'd bet almost anything you make your trading money (assuming you have any) by stealing from the registers.
Sum, I'm not taking sides here because, to be honest, I find you both to be on extreme opposite sides that are more counterproductive than productive. Regardless, lets not forget that BHO voted in favor of those wars so he is part of the mess you are so casually trying to toss over the wall just like all the Republicans and Democrats that you people blindly follow ad nauseam. By all means, keep up the finger pointing and divisive monlogues until this country is torn apart. What good role models we all are for our the young who have no choice but to inherit this mess we have created.
Im from the Smith Barney School...I make my MONEY the old fashioned way SUM....I earn it!
SUM are U kidding me w/ YOUR simple math?
what are you like 25-30 years old?
now theres the problem w/ your Simple Math...
YOU sum are the most recent example of a SIMPLE PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION here in America?
Were U like asleep SUM when Mrs Jones said ""1+1=2 and 2+2=4, now SUM repeat after me.....""
I think I read that DC Public Schools was considering REMOVING social studies from their Curriculum and replacing it w/ more Phys Ed! Lets see the average DC kid today can not do remedial math, or write an essay,or tell you who their elected officials are and DC public schools thinks REMOVING social studies is the answer to improving their Education?/??!
The DUMBING DOWN OF AMERICA by the libs is alive and well and SUMs retort is a perfect example of the NEW MATH!! SUM is the PRODUCT of a failed EDUCATIONAL system!
get it iggit...SUM=Product=failure?
of course U are smart enough to be in CLDX.... I think?
BETTER own about $500K worth of CLDX for that 10 month olds College Ed.... Daddy!
"Im from the Smith Barney School...I make my MONEY the old fashioned way SUM....I earn it!"
...really? So you change your story, b/c I could have sworn you had said you retired. Others point out that you work honorably as a cashier in Jersey, but you say you do not work at all...mainly to avoid paying taxes. How is not working to avoid paying taxes 'earning'?
"SUM are U kidding me w/ YOUR simple math?"
...uh..no. 1+1 = 2 in my world...not 7, as it does in neocon world.
what are you like 25-30 years old?
36 in June. Thank you for asking. How this is relevant is a little beyond me.

You have me there. I am not a private school kid. I went to public school from K-12 then to UNC from BS in Finance with a minor in Economics and for my MBA. The irony from your painting is that my sister was privately educated (save 4 years of udergrad up in Asheville) from kindergarten through her masters degree from Duke....and she now works for the state government and I work for a private enterprise...how did this happen???
"BETTER own about $500K worth of CLDX for that 10 month olds College Ed.... Daddy!"
I have felt that way, at times, too, so I won;'t dog you on this one. At the end of the day, though, I am happy to have gotten my degrees...even though I have no question I've learned far more on the job than I even did/could in a classroom.
Frank - you are a fun sparring mate, but you broad brush far too much for you own good. However, like I said back in December when you posted that you had sold all of your CLDX holdings, the thought of this board without you is sad. I never learn anything from you, but I do enjoy your company in my free time. If we ever meet, I will definitely buy you a beer.
