Why so hard to strike a deal?

By now, even small details of any partnership being negotiated should have been hammered out. What's taking so long?

Is it taking so long because there's a bidding war?

Are potential partners waiting to hear what the FDA grants to Celldex regarding 011?

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Any of mentioned below explanations are possible. But, I'm more pessimistic and at this point believe that at this point there is no firm offer on the table to discuss...Usually, when Big Pharma ready to move ahead, they don't beat around the bushes and things move up quickly. Since here we definetly don't see AND, on another hand we all know that the science is solid here, I'm also lost regarding reason why such valuable time get lost...
Another reason could be that AM playing picky bride...Well, we all know with what she eventually ends up....

My $$$$ are on a deal with Celgene before the end of Q3, '13. In any event there's no rush. In the meantime the highest 12 month target price is $16, with Cantors at $13. IMO we'll see $13-$15 by Labor Day.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Partnership is not contingent upon early approval or SPA, this just provides more fueled-up herd at the bidding door. Probably, each pipeline with multiple positive treatment indicators poses a good partnering conundrum dynamic/problem, e.g., how much, to what extent, etc.. In other words good profitable ownership nuanced details.
