As I understand it CLDX's role in these upcoming conferences is barely more than being there and that's been known by those close to the event and the company for quite some time. Does anyone here know for certain what their role will be?
THIS IS PURELY HYPOTHETICAL , but what if the funds having discovered this hypothetical minimal role somehow got a wall St guru to pump the stock to so they'd have more retail suckers to sell to.
The guru takes the offer, does the pump, and the stock nearly doubles. Guru then says sell. The funds have offloaded on the way up reducing their exposure and Guru is vindicated having recommending a stock at $20 that goes to near $40, and then telling folks to sell there. He gave two solid pieces of advice. I'm contemplating writing a screen play on a fictitious situation such as this, so don't think for a minute it could be true.
Be interesting though to see what CLDX's role really is at these conferences and even more interesting to see what the institutional holdings are when next reported. Like I said, this is purely a hypothetical dramatization. I know that no one associated with Wall Street would ever do such a thing. And if institutional holdings do drop dramatically I'm sure that too will be purely coincidental.
I'm only using this as research for a literary work. No one should buy or sell based on it. Just soliciting opinions and seeing how the hypothetical works out. opinions, would it make a good fiction novel or screenplay?
