this one worth around $200M based on close to $600M market cap valuation currently being maintained....question is....who is it???? MERCK??????
That's horrible analysis I'm sorry. You think Dr. Kim is going to waste his time with a smaller deal than the last one? Our starting bench is worth WAY more than the draft picks so I'm not sure where you're getting a $200mil deal from? Maybe 200mil for Dr. Kim to give them a tour of one of our facilities perhaps? Hope you weren't serious.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
LOL.....silly person.....$200M is not a small deal.....but hey, its all relative I suppose.....do you really think a big pharma will be willing to part will more money than that on something like this???? thats nice if you think so......and its not wasting his time ADDING value to the company with another alliance with another BIG pharma.....even if its ONLY $200M LOL.....ok, I'm sorry if I've awakened you from your dream.....go back to sleep.........I might add, I'm not saying the company isn't worth more, but imho, its unlikely at this stage that the market cap is going to skyrocket to be worth BILLIONS of $$$ without something substantive....you people with your PIE in the SKY short term dreams.....I think it will happen here, but not overnight like you like to think.....no pharma is going to bet the farm here, but they will nibble....especially with best in class performance as evidenced by Roche....to do otherwise would be pretty stupid....like you..... :D
I believe that Dr. Kim wants to take the company under his own wings. He merged with Inovio for a reason (delivery system), he believed the field of influenza vaccine development needs an extreme makeover. DNA vaccines differ fundamentally from conventional virus-based vaccines. A buy out will be more likely by a bigger pharma, speculating ROCHE, before partnering with Merck.
Dr. Kim has taken the company under his own wings. Where was Kim before INO. Inovio has more in house connections to Merck than anybody else. Merck is a legitimate potential partner, and the fact that you do not know that shows that you do not know jack about Inovio. You have admitted to being a troll so you have no credibility here, not that you ever had any.
The slip says it all... Merck will be a partner.. but not the only one this year.. Why is Dr. Kim so confident and excited about this year? He knows how many large Pharma's have been knocking on his door to strike a deal. There's a good chance that this year will blow away all of our expectations
Merck is in dire straits, they need something going into Phase III trials . Dr. Margaret Liu has been working with DNA vaccines influenza with Merck for qutet some time now. The only thing Merck needed from Inovio was the delivery system which was licensed to them back in 2004. This news is far fetched and speculative. Just saying.
