Nothing that bad with the numbers. revised the last two months up substantially also. Nothing that would say were going backwards or into a recession. You guys are wishing. The economy is going to blow up in the next 3,4,5 years down the road, Not tommorrow. The Catastophe doesn't happen overnight It takes along time.
your right. I didn't mean to imply the numbers were bad. I was just saying that whatever the numbers were the market was heading up. They are good, or more importantly, just slightly better than the anemic growth the market was expecting. That is the sweet spot for Wall Street. They don't want them too good or too bad.
Indeed - it is why Bernanke will be seen as the greatest financil leader this country has ever had. He was able to not only deal with raw numbers and statistics but use them in such a way as to heal investor psychology and turn a "random" markets into "safe havens."
