it is a shame that some of us follow a guy like carl and this happens, especially at christmas, we all get our butts spanked and don't even hear from him. like my old accountant once said, guys like that make more money when they lose. who do we really trust in this world anymore. navistar really got us at the wrong time of year, even tho this is not good any time of year. i am sorry for all of us believers in this company. merry christmas to all, i wish it would have been better. the only positive i can think of is that those familys in connecticut wish they had this problem
Anybody who bought this POS in the past year, including Icahn and Rachesky, is a fool. Balance sheet liabilities exceed assets. Total lack of predictibility in earnings, accompained by murky one-time adjustments. Lawsuits against regulators, competitors, suppliers - everyone in sight. And earnings calls that deny, defllect, and ignore. Clear technical deficiencies, unable to meet regulatory requirements more than TWO YEARS after the standard went into effect. Don't blame Icahn, go take some basic arithmetic classes.
