Cobalt lists 87 meters of oil at the Baleia #1A on the Orca maps (285 feet, gross or net? and could some of that be a condensate/gas cap?). Today Cobalt reports at Orca, “250 feet of net oil pay, predominantly in the upper sag reservoir and, to a lesser extent, within the deeper syn-rift. Additionally, we identified a thin condensate and gas zone at the crest of the upper reservoir of approximately 75 feet. It appears we may have identified oil-water contacts in both the sag and syn-rift intervals.”
Orca net oil in syn-rift = 50’.
Orca net oil upper sag = 200’ + 75’ condensate/gas cap = 275’ of total net hydrocarbon column. Are Orca and Baleia basically flat structurally? I wish someone had asked that question during the CC today.
Looks like the distance from Orca to Baleia is about 7 miles. I hope the structure will map out and drill out as an elongated flat N/S structure.
