There is something that you are missing, companies rarely overstate projected EPS(or FFO).
Increased the portfolio by 40% and have a decrease in earnings. Yet they say the properties are performing better?10) Same store results based on Nov 07 vs Nov 08a. 8.7% increase in patient daysb. 6.5% increase in out patient visitsc. Zero increase in emergency room visitsd. 4.4% decrease in patient bad debitYet FFO is down significantly? And not proportionate to the increase in shares.... much more significant drop... what did they not tell us yesterday?
I have not looked at their numbers, but my guess is that their financing costs has increased more.
