He also staed Jamba will open in a new international market this year.The opening in Penn station nyc in Sept will be very big imo.Also imo the many walls treeters who trek thru Penn will get exposure to the Jamba brand that they migh not have previously had. good luck
they need a coffee house so that they can stay open later hours and continue to increase revenue. College Students stay up late studying for exams, meet at the local Starbucks.
i personally am upset when I get home late from dinner around 9:30pm and the local jamba juice store is closed. but i understand the market for smoothies past 10pm is very little so they need another product to sustain sales to justify late close store hours.
Yes jamba needs to be profitable.But with growth comes economy of scales as many of the costs are fixed so its not counterpoductive at all.additionally the larger the footprint the better for being takeover
