Nothing comes easy for ANV longs. To me, the only good reason for anyone to short such an oversold stock is to have the insider knowledge that every other big player is shorting it -- but I guess that's what is happening here. Would be very surprised if it's more than the Mom-and-Pop shareholders who are suffering.
And now would not surprised if this ends under 10 today. I consider it my fault to presume the bounce after 10.3 suggested 10.3 was the bottom. Since all shorting the stock had already immediately made money once session started that day, there was no reason for them to send the shares straight under 10 that day. Better to space out the declines, i guess.
Oh well, hopefully the day improves, and we have a war or two (ie I own junk volatility ETFs too).
