market penetration into NE has barely started, and is likely to expand this year. with r/e prices and interest rates so low, this co is positioned with excellent value and growth compared to its peers.
Some types of food establishments and other attractions are seasonal, that's just the way it is. For example Rita's Ices in Pennsylvania closes for the winter. Nobody goes skiing in the summer, although they might go hiking.
Obviously Sonic is good (not the food, just the idea) in warm weather, so it should work best in the South, not New England. One would suppose that the owners would be aware of that problem, and make suitable leasing arrangements.
