need some help...
Schwab wants to charge me $50 a trade on top of "regular commissions" - not the $8.95 they usually tack on.
Scott frowns upon stocks less than a buck - especially in IRA accts - and charges bigger commissions.
So, if you own Sundance, can you offer some advice on how I might buy some...pls
Spoke to my local Scottrade office.
Commission is $7 plus 1/2% of the principal value of the purchase.
1000 shs of SDCJF.PK at 60 cents would be
$7 + 0.005x$600 = $10
2500 shs of SDCJF.PK at 60 cents would be
$7 + 0.005x$1500 = $14.50
When SDCJF.PK gets to $1.00 commission would be $7 - they drop the surcharge on shs over $1.00.
Not as cheap as Budapest, but pretty good.
Check with your local Scottrade office
use scottrade for all action. even if you cannot do the trade online because of their trading habits they will assist and do the trade at the internet rate. all the australians ssn,sdcjf.pk,azzef.pk can be directly purchased, but my etkef.pk you much call! Actually makes little sense.
Thanks to every one that replied.
I have a small, almost forgotten TD Ameritrade acct. I'll see what I can do with that. I'll also call the local Scottrade office and find out what they will do.
Again - thanks.
