Know that markets don't go straight up and to underweight and SKIM profits in a correction. We are in one and no new buys(with rare exceptions) should be made.Odds are 75% AGAINST you. That is why I spent THREE weeks taking equity exposure down from 65%%ish to 35%ish.DUH:) And my posts are all there so it matters not what FILTH is posted here:)I DO think SODA is a "nibble" here even should she test low 30s-by Nov. 12th, I think it's UNLIKELY(nothing is sure MIKA:) that we WON't see a $45 print-at which time, I UNLOAD:)
I'm going to disagree with you here.
Your topic is "Investors." Yet you suggest that "investing" makes no sense with this stock. If there was a breakout, you suggest selling. I assume this advice is based on historical stock movement of SODA versus fundamentals. That's trading, not investing.
I don't object to trading, but I am a little surprised that you have thrown in the towel and believe there is no chance that SODA will ever break through.
You fundamentally misunderstand my LT investment in Soda Martin with much respect .If I'm not in for the long haul, why is Soda my biggest equity holding? In fact, I believe I own no other stocks even slightly overweight except DEO. If you are not realizing what big money is doing that allows a LT holder to trade a FEW shares at this critical juncture in Soda history, I'm sorry . Gabe has the answers as does Seth. I've "thrown in the towel"? Care to examine my portfolio Martin? If I didn't NOW have affection for you, this post would have been quite different :)GL and try to contact Gabe:)Misdirected anger Martin. I just refusè to be a victim of the Big $$$ like those here just sitting on their shares. And!!!, I have made small TRADES to reduce my Core's basis . When I say "unload" at $45, not the whole position, but a LOT more than these penny ante trades I've made because I KNOW what they are doing -the shorts will fail and I'll have a bunch when they drown!!!!
