Just stopped by 2 Target stores in Minneapolis to replace my empty CO2 cans. Both stores said they were out of refills and did not know when they would have them again. This does not bode well for CO2 sales. Anyone else have this problem?
Will need to monitor this one. Either they have a plant capacity/growth issue, a distribution issue, or a store losing interest issue. The next time I'm in a store I'll check it out. But I don't go to a store much. Don't like to shop. Go Soda longs
Yep, same situation at the Macy's in Ballston Commons Mall. I don't own a sodastream but i own the stock. I asked the sales person where the sodastreams were located. I told her I already owned one so that she wouldn't try selling me one. She then said oh, then you must want a CO2. at that point she said they were sold out and had been out for 2 months.
Out for 2 months? Come on, guy. No store is out for 2 months. More like 2 days. I had that problem at a Target store, but I walked across to a BBB and they had plenty. Sometimers store will run out of exchange tanks due to heavy demand.
The thing I didn't like was that they had new tanks on the shelves but they would not sell me one as an exchange. They expected me to pay double the price for a new tank. I thought about it because a second tank would be nice to own anyway but I decided to complain to the store manager about it and then just walked over to BBB to get my exchange. Target told me they would be restocked the next day and appologized for the inconvienence.
