BASF's Kixor To Kick Up Some Dust!

BASF Expects To Double Total Herbicide Sales By 2012; Fierce Competition To DuPont Ag Chemicals

Good Morning, Bonjour, Guten Tag, Buenos Dias,

Folks, Reuters just reported that the U. S. EPA has signed off on a new herbicide put out by the world's largest chemical company by revenues (the position DuPont used to hold pre-Holliday before collapsing to a lowly number eight under the crushing weight of stunningly inept and unethical Management). See "UPDATE1 BASF Gets OK For New Herbicide," Reuters, 09-15-09, 9:00 am EDT.

It's called Kixor, an attractively marketable name, easy for customers to remember and pronounce, in contrast to some of the cockamamie arcane scientific names DuPont's bumbling marketing types come up with for DuPont herbicides.

BASF will market Kixor as a complementary herbicide to Monsanto's popular Roundup, zapping weeds that may have grown resistant to Roundup.

In short, more competition for DuPont's lumbering AG & NUT bureaucracy. Will DuPont's LOSER execs and their secret operatives also start crying BASF has an "unfair monopoly"? Will they be covertly bankrolling puppet organisations to smear and defame BASF?! Stay tuned.

Merely the morning commentary of one individual investor and long-time student of the dysfunctioning DuPont...funfun..

    • funfraud- that's about as interesting an analysis of that poster's behavior that I've ever heard. Five stars. I've always suspected he's some former DD manager who got promoted well beyond his capabilities and left or was asked to leave. It sounds like you have some medical training. Are you a psychiatrist? If you are, maybe you should hang a shingle over on the DD board where you can observe his behavior directly and more often. Maybe you can get through to him because it seems like nobody else can. That's it for me on this thread. No sense in cluttering up the MON board with this any further.

    • anti_bs,

These are the thoughts of poster who has apparently admitted being a DuPont Manager. The descriptions of DD management are likely sub-conscious admissions of self while employed there. The desire to to be accepted by MON managers, employees, and shareholders is probably displacing an inherent desire to be accepted by DD management, employees, and shareholders.

    • I often wonder why you hate DD so much, especially its management team? You act a bit childish always. BASF's herbicide won't be blockbuster unless if can have traits to go with it. That is the common problems for MON's competitiors.

      • cal_sunshine,

This forum is not about any particular poster. Why the off-topic personal insults?

For the record, we have no personal animus against the DuPont Company or any Officer, Manager, or employee thereof.

We simply stand by our belief that no corporate management should be above the law or the scrutiny of its shareholders and the public at large. And importantly, they must be held accountable for their performance and unethical, if not unlawful acts.

As a MON shareholder for some time, we fear the sleazy smear campaign sytematically waged by DuPont's unethical and secretive leaders against Monsanto and its business, will adversely impact the value of Monsanto and redound to the detriment of MON shareholders and MON employees.

DuPont's war of "dirty tricks" must be exposed and aggressively countered. Farmers and customers must be put on notice of the replay of BENLATE ETHICS by DuPont's deceitful bosses and kept fully informed.
