well arch your constant lament is going to end either at zero dollars or your patience will snap and you'll bail and salvage what you can. listening to a crybaby gets old, next time enter on the right side of the trade or hold your money.
I notice that KD's 13d filing after his deal wilth QTWW reports 19.99% ownership in that company. My understanding is that once you get to 20% ownership in a company your tax reporting responsibilities change, so I assume he set the limit of QTWW ownership with that in mind.
According to KD's latest 13 filing for amsc, he already owns 24% of amsc stock, so I guess he's already past the threshold. I think if amsc offered 12 million or more shares WITHOUT Kevin participating, then his ownership goes back down below 20%
Question is whether he'd like to see that happen, or if wants to get in even deeper.
I think it's a real possibility KD could cough up some more to keep amsc afloat. The $30m of shares just registered would about cover amsc's debt level, I think (the balance on the $25m notes and the $10m loan). But I don't know if either of these debts allows for prepayment.
I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if KD made a move, but of course I have no idea what he plans.
