I bought in the Fall of 2005 for $6.20 after F. Burke bought 1M shares for $6.50. AXAS is a much better company now. At that time CapEx was $25M; EPS $0.35; Debt $140M; no building; and much less land.
Agree with you. AXAS has recast its balance sheet to take advantage of their investments in the Bakken, Eagle Ford, and eventually the Permian Basin. The Bakken is going to be the biggest contributor to revenues and EPS going forward, but I'm excited about where natural gas and liquids coming out of Eagle Ford and the Permian will take AXAS. And...they have great management. $4, $6, $8 is in the cards.
