Just looking for a vote here. I for one am for it. This would clean out all the small players that can't afford a decent sized position to begin with. Small investors tend to toy around in low dollar stocks.
I think folks are not thinking right; who is afraid of liquidity drying up? shorts or longs. if i'm a long and have a long time horizon, why do I care about liquidity? look at high priced stocks like BH, BRKA, ..If I'm short, will I like the fact that I can't cover my short? shorts are scared of lack of liquidity.
the traders dont like it; we dont need them anyways. I'll tell you, a reverse split and constant buybacks (30MM/year) will push the price. Look at AZO.
I vote a resounding NO.
Kinda snotty attitude there Jaque "Clean out the small investors" Who are beneath you and the other board members?
I want Robin working the nuts and bolts of our business, building value.
Not fussing around with the transient hysterias of the day to day market.
The more of Robin's time that the shorts eat, the poorer we are.
Quit jerking his chain about this little stuff...Go for the long game.
