I wonder sometimes if the dots connected are, like the constellations, subject to re-adjustment. I would feel more optimistic if I didn't have the detriment of hindsight. I agree, patience is key, particularly in such an endeavor as a new energy paradigm.
So I've had the nagging question rattling around in my perverted, tipsy brain since the all-metal fuel rod announcement. Someone please enlighten me so I feel better about my investment (funny, every time I ask for that from the board I'm disappointed.) If the rods were designed, as Seth himself said, because the Th assembly's performance (Kurchatov I must presume?) was not as good as hoped-for, then is Th out the window? Is it marketable if it's just a little better than Ur? I guess we better hope for that, or else wait several more years for the licorice sticks. That will be my "half-life." Who knows, before that perhaps Captain Kirk will get sufficient funding, or fusion won't be just a new cuisine or music form. Please tell me something I am missing, on the tech side. zzzzzzzzzzzz
