I kept buying on all pullbacks, and took all those profits this morning. I still think LVS will be $50 by Oct, but I'm now looking at energy and basic materials, as well as large cap tech for opening positions. LVS good by me, picked up one dividend while I added on pullbacks. Strategy Strategy Strategy, always think it out and keep cash reserves aside in case you need it to add further at lower valuations.
Cgrach & Sizzlin, I applaud your bravery to step in front of the train, but at a 14.5 % allocation to LVS I was already over by 4.5 %. I rarely, but not never, like for any one position to be more than 10 % of the portfolio. So if there is a total disaster in that stock, im not trying to make it back for years to come. I had already averaged down at the 42.50 level, I was dead wrong, but at the same time I had to think about the unthinkable and resist buying more in the 30s.
