One long overdue idea now gaining attention on the message boards. First, I notice this from the ForBes Magazine article. They wrote about profiteering by the banks' credit card units and mentioned the charge card intercharge report. The site is: Wayoohigh.com
They have a blog which details the idea of paying in cash after Thanksgiving.
Sorry buddy but I'm never paying cash for anything I don't have to because I have no protection when I do that and I have no sympathy for you as a retailer. I pay my card off in full every month and it offers me a superb form of protection against retailers who might try to rip me off. Sorry but you have to offer a better argument than that. Just because you have to pay a fee, well, think of what you would lose if you quit accepting credit cards. I don't shop where they don't accept credit cards. I turn around and walk out and know of several others that do the same. By the way, go Wells Fargo!
