That would be like you demanding an audit of your bank where you got your mortgage (providing you have one). The Fed is a private central bank that loans money to congress to spend and the taxpayer to repay at the threat of the IRS. Why would they feel the need to be under the scrutiny of those whose financial ability is so bad that they need to borrow in the first place? As long as this exists, Congress doesn't have to be accountable to the people of this country. They will continue writing blank checks that the American people have to try to make good. I wouldn't let you audit me either if I were them. Cheers.
