The Fed is not an arm of some Rothschild conspiracy

Yes, that is what I'm saying. The illusion of prosperity is about to come undone! Taxes have been higher, but now taxes will be higher, not to mention Fees (hidden taxes) and of course carbon taxes (green taxes) and lets not forget the biggest tax of them all - INFLATION........

    • If you maintain that the US and its citizens are worse off now (or in 1950 or 1960 or 1970 or 1980 or 1990 or 2000) than they were in 1913, then it is hardly worth participating in a discussion. That is patently absurd, on a par with still claiming the world is flat. You only confirm what is obvious in your posts, whether sincerely held or not, an inflexible, ignorant, simple minded and unfounded view of reality. Best wishes to you as you live in your version of reality. But remember, you can choose to live in any version you desire, but in the end, reality bites, and your imagination cannot prevent that.

      • I should have guessed you would find any reason to disagree. I see no point in continuing this. I will just say that what we have is an illusion.
Social security is broke. Medicare is broke. Some 65 percent of jobs are supported by the government in some way. The party is over, unless you think some one is going to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Deficit just raised to 12.4 trillion for, what the next three months-then what?
Lets see, a Quadrillion in derivatives. Paper illusionary wealth? It's like holding up a damn with bubble gum and clay. As long as you can convince people that were okay. Tell them to spend, spend, spend their way out of this depression-we will be okay?
Besides your a smart guy and know what I'm trying to say. I'm talking about the future. We have none in this kind of false economy and you know it. So continue to play your games my friend. Watch what happens in the next few years. It is going to blow everyones mind. The collapse of 2008 was just the beginning........
