How does a 1% "miss" in the revenue figure, translate into a 25% plummet in the stock share price?
It wasn't even a "miss". They RAISED guidance, just not as much as the Street wanted them to. Keep this in mind. They RAISED revenue guidance, but in doing so, projecting $820M to $830M in revenues, the Street is punishing the stock 25% for them not raising the figure to $837M (the analysts estimates). That $837M the company will still probably hit, because they consistently beat estimates.
The SEC needs to look into this. What am I saying. The SEC is useless in share price manipulation situations like these.
