Can someone confirm that BG is going to earn US$2.5BN from the sale of the fertilizer Co to Vale. This means that almost 50% of the company is going to be in cash! If so what is BG going to do with all this cash?
hopefiully they will pay down debt with cash.
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/100527/ny12166.html?.v=1The article says of the $3.5B, only $1.5B to be used to reduce debt. How to increase BG shareholder value?Shareholders will see results only if the share price return to a decent level, say, 70-85 over a reasonable time period. BG has been in free-fall, perhaps because of the market correction. BG to follow market action higher? If not, Wall St. is suggesting it want changes.Just my 2 cents.
no I can't help you but I sure want to own this stock but I got to try and find the bottom and also somehow work the options game at the same time !.

Market correction and the industry, all combined to place BG in the doghouse.BG is a value play here at this low price. If price goes <40, shareholders want change. This is a big comedown if you owned BG in 2008 peak.GLTA
