there is more compelling evidence that novartis shareholders are on to a diamond in the rough. this stock which is covered by a large number of analysts ( as mentioned in the article )has projected earnings growing to over 3 dollars per share by 2007 while increasing every year from 2004 to 2007. this is big, really big, and it means that in 2007 the stock has the ability to increase its stock price dramatically probably to the 80 dollar range. if my checkbook permits, i will be adding shares with pullbacks. in addition the short position nad risk grade which is better that of the s&p500 and nasdaq 100 means that this is truly a safe investment if there is actually a true safe investment out there - but to me investing is this stock is a safer bet than gold. it is one of the few stocks that i believe is a real value. ( i also own tenneco automotive - ten is the ticker symbol which i believe is undervalued for different reasons ) nonetheless thanks for the article - it suggests to me that we have found the best of the best and the street.com agrees they have nvs rated as a strong buy.
